The Jovial Crew (Cliff Haslam, Joseph Morneault, Michael Hotkowski and Rick Spencer) presents Sea Chanteys, Irish songs, drinking songs and nonsense at The Griswold Inn, 36 Main Street in Essex, CT. The fun starts as soon as you arrive.  “The Gris” website is here.

11 March 2026, Thursday ~ Andover, CT  6:30 pm

The Andover Public Library presents the debut presentation of our newest program “From Colonies to Independence: Songs of America’s Transition” at 355 route 6 in Andover, CT.  The library’s website is here.

17 March, 2026, Tuesday ~ Essex, CT  7:30 pm to 10:30 pm

The Jovial Crew will do our annual St. Patrick’s Day performance at the Griswold Inn, 36 Main Street in Essex, CT. This event is in addition to Monday night. Please note that we’ll be in the “covered bridge” dining room.  Reservations are strongly suggested. “The Gris” website is here.

28 March 2026, Saturday ~ Clinton, CT 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The Adam Stanton House presents a “Tavern Night” fundraising event at 63 East Main Street in Clinton, CT.  We’ll do a mix of songs from our 19th century programs, our maritime repertoire and preview some material from our new America 250 presentation. We’ve been invited to participate in the 5th Annual Connecticut Sea Music Festival in downtown Essex. For more information about the three day event, see the organization website here.

16 June 2026, Tuesday ~ Essex, CT  5:30 pm and 7:00 pm

We’re pleased to be returning to the Connecticut River Museum to perform for their Shanties and Sails concert series.  We’ll play on the lawn from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, then board the historic sailing vessel Onrust for a cruise and shanty singing on the river. The museum is at 67 Main Street in Essex, CT.  Their website is here.

The Palmer-Warner House presents a program of historic songs that connect to Frederic Palmer’s Scottish heritage.  We’ll also include some music that relates to the period of the Warner family’s ownership.  The time of this program, and a proposed rain date are to be determined and will be posted here as soon as we have the information.  The Palmer-Warner House is a Connecticut Landmarks property.  Their website is here.

17 September 2026, Thursday ~ Brooklyn, CT  7:30 pm

The Brooklyn Historical Society presents “From Colonies to Independence: Songs of America’s Transition” at Brooklyn’s Trinity Episcopal Church Parish House, 7 Providence Road in Brooklyn, CT.  The program will follow the society’s meeting at 7:00 pm. The organization’s website is here.

15 October 2026, Thursday ~ Bristol, CT  7:00 pm
